About Best of ASCO
Best of ASCO event is an educational initiative to discuss relevant aspects of ASCO's annual meeting. This event is being hosted by GHA, and the theme includes 'Practice changing therapies for cancer treatment'. The discourse includes the clinical prospects of cancer research including clinical trials, with emphasis on immunotherapy. However, translating the research findings to clinical implementation faces many challenges.
This event provides an excellent platform to extend the dialogue on the specifics of immunotherapy and bifunctional antibody treatment in various cancers. Domain experts will opine on the recent advances in cancer treatment modalities and their adverse effects, as well as the theoretical background for its clinical application. The event also includes panel discussions, and a host of other events to captivate the audience including opportunities for networking.

He completed his MBBS in Mangalore and MD in Internal Medicine in Madurai, where his thesis on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia sparked his passion for oncology. He pursued a DM in Medical Oncology at Adyar Cancer Institute, training under luminaries like Dr. V. Shantha and Dr. T.G. Sagar. Dr. Murali practiced in Delhi at Moolchand Medicity and Holy Family Hospital and helped establish the Oncology program at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad, including its first Haploidentical Bone Marrow Transplant. With expertise in treating over 5,000 cases of Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Lymphomas, and Leukemias, he specializes in immunotherapy for lung cancer and targeted therapies for blood cancers.
